Safe chat in a Christian environment is the goal of 711WebCafe. However. . . since hosts are not always present, we ask you to be aware of the risks involved and the safety features we offer.  1. Please be careful and discerning. Unless one has been banned for indecency, anyone with Internet connection is capable of entering these chat rooms.    2. Consult a host if someone behaves indecently. Host's names are in light blue on the right hand column of the chat window. Chatbot should not be confused as being a host, but rather a watchdog robot monitoring language. It will bump people off indefinitely if it hears foul speech, and is present 24\7. However, Chatbot should not be relied upon to protect you from predators, indecency, or help you discern unchristian beliefs.

3.  If a host is not present when harassed go to the #help or #lobby room and find a host by clicking on their name. Tell the host the problem and ask permission to paste the content for viewing. 

4. Even a Christian chat room cannot be completely safe. Though the vast majority of chat conversations are edifying and Christian, you should not enter these chat rooms if the risks bother you!

4. No flooding, clones, nor bots allowed. Unless preauthorized by CCNet. Email chatbot@christian-chat.net to ask if your bot is allowed.

The transfer of files to un-expecting users will result in a kline, as well as the transfer of unauthorized software, such as .wav and .mp3 files.

5. Do not criticize a channel's leadership or rules.

The IRC channels found here are not run by CCNet, but by individuals. If you do not agree with the specific channel rules, please join a different channel. /list will show you the current channels online.

This is because we, as Christians, are not to promote strife. We ask that you take the problem directly to the channel owner. To find out who owns a channel type: /cb info #channel_name To contact that owner, please use the form mentioned in the next rule.

There is a form for both AKILLs and problems dealing with channels. We do not handle these problems online because it leads to arguments and strife. There are no exceptions to this rule, do NOT attempt to get an IRCop to remove a channel ban for you unless it is their own
channel. Anyone refusing to follow this policy will be banned!

7. This is a Christian IRC network and Message Boards. Please keep this in mind while choosing a nickname. Nicknames like cyber-babe, sexy-woman, etc. are not appropriate.

Our goal is to provide a clean and MORAL server. Again, please choose your nickname accordingly.

Nicknames that do not exercise modesty or suggest (in the IRCOP's opinion) that the owner of the nickname is wanting to flirt or here for the purpose of picking up a guy or girl are PROHIBITED. A channel owner, can and will kick for a nick that they don't view is appropriate for the channel.

Nicks such as demon, devil, satan, and other condescending nicks, will not be tolerated. On the other hand, nicks such as Jesus and God are not allowed out of respect for our heavenly father.

8. Disrespecting ircops will not be tolerated and WILL result in a server ban. IRCops will respect you as a Christian and as a User, and we expect the same in return. Kicking an IRCop from a channel, is not acceptable. If you feel that there is an issue that has not been properly handled at anytime, please contact chatbot@christian-chat.net so this issue can be resolved.

9. Advertising any other chat network is not allowed.

Channel owners set their own rules regarding web page advertising in their channels. Remember SERVER RULE #3 and abide by them.

10. Remember Satan is the accuser of the brethren, do not falsely accuse other users OR act in any manner other than Christ Himself would.
